About EDAIC

 The European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) is a comprehensive and rigorous multilingual examination designed specifically for specialists in anaesthesiology. This end-of-training assessment is divided into two parts, thoroughly evaluating candidates on a wide range of relevant basic sciences, such as pharmacology and physiology, along with critical clinical subjects that encompass the complexities of modern anaesthesia practice and intensive care management. The EDAIC serves as a vital milestone, allowing participants to demonstrate their knowledge and skills while paving the way for global recognition and advancement in their professional careers. 


EDAIC PART I is a written exam -  conducted once a year consisting Paper A and Paper B in multiple choice questions format.


EDAIC PART II is a Structured Oral Examination (SOE) with 4 sessions conducted on a single day. This exam is held between February and December every year. Candidates have the option of taking the exam either online or face to face.
